THE CHINESE NEW YEAR MENU

In addition to our award winning menu, we have some great new recipes launching on the 7th. which reflect tradition and flavours associated with good old fashion home cooking but served in an environment of luxury, opulence and warm service

Stir fried pork loin ‘Peking’ style
with garlic sprouts & bird's-eye chilli

Steamed Scottish lobster with minced garlic,
Chinese parsley & soya Sauce

Sirloin & white turnip stew, spiced with

By the popular demand of our customers, the highly respected Feng Shui Consultant and Chinese Astrologer, Ting-Foon Chik, will once again, be giving Kai Mayfair customers exclusive readings on the outlook for 2008.

CHINESE VALENTINE'S DAY
(Thurs. 21 Feb)

On 21st February - the 15th night of Chinese New Year - Foon’s readings will focus on love, life and relationships. For the 15th night not only signifies the end of Chinese New Year, but also doubles as the Chinese Valentine’s Day. It is on this special occasion that, according to tradition, single women should toss an orange into the river in the hope of finding a suitor.  Diners at Kai will not only be treated to Foon’s words of wisdom, but will be given an orange in the hope that they participate on Orange Throwing Festival.

THE VALENTINE'S DAY
DOM PERIGNON MENU

(Thurs 14 Feb)
In addition to our regular menu, our Dom Perignon tasting menu will be made with Dom Perignon Rose on Valentine's Day.

The Dom Perignon Menu requires 3 days notice to prepare and is priced at £280 per person. Bookings need to be made by 11 February to try this menu.
